About Swift Aero

Swift Aero Maintenance Limited has been maintaining general aviation aircraft since 2007. We work from Shackleton Hangar at Sywell Aerodrome in Northampton as a UK CAA-approved Combined Airworthiness Organisation (Part-CAO, ref UK.CAO.1051).

Our heritage

Our heritage

For nearly two decades Swift Aero has provided aircraft maintenance services in the United Kingdom. Founded in 2007 as SwiftAir Maintenance Limited, the company began with a single aim: careful, precise maintenance for general aviation aircraft.

In 2024 the company was acquired by a consortium, bringing renewed resources, expanded capabilities and additional technical expertise. That acquisition opened a new phase of growth without changing the commitment to doing the work properly.

Today, operating as Swift Aero, we continue to build on that heritage while embracing advances in aircraft maintenance technology. The rebranding reflects not just a change in ownership, but an evolution in how we meet the demands of modern aviation maintenance.
